This Privacy Policy explains how Culture Nest ("Culture Nest", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you visit or shop at culturenest.in. We handle personal data in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Information we collect

Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, order details, and any messages you send us.
Payment information: processed securely by our payment gateway, Razorpay. We never receive or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or netbanking credentials on our servers.
Information collected automatically: your device type, browser, IP address, pages viewed, and similar usage data, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use your information

To process, fulfil, ship and support your orders.
To send order confirmations, dispatch and delivery updates.
To handle returns, replacements, warranty claims and refunds.
To respond to your enquiries and provide customer support.
To detect and prevent fraud and to verify Cash on Delivery orders.
To meet our legal, tax and GST obligations.
With your consent, to send marketing about products and offers — you can opt out at any time.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, measure site performance, and — with your consent — support advertising. Service providers we share data with

We share only the information necessary to run our store, and only with trusted providers who process it on our behalf:

Shopify — our e-commerce platform, website hosting and order management.
Razorpay — secure payment processing.
Delhivery and our courier partners — order shipping, delivery and tracking.
Judge.me — collecting and displaying verified product reviews.
Meta (Facebook) Pixel — measuring advertising performance and, with your consent, showing you relevant ads.
Communication providers — sending order updates by email, SMS or WhatsApp.

Our website also loads web fonts from Google Fonts and embeds our public Instagram feed, which may set their own cookies. Each provider processes your data under its own privacy policy and its contractual obligations to us, and some may process data on servers located outside India, subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose information where required by law, court order or a lawful government request, and to establish or defend legal claims.

How long we keep your data

Order and transaction records: for as long as required under Indian tax and GST law (generally up to 8 years).
Account data: while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards.
Marketing data: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and withdraw your consent to marketing at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@culturenest.in. We may need to verify your identity first, and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Data security

We use reasonable security practices, including HTTPS encryption in transit and access controls, and we rely on payment and logistics providers who maintain their own recognised security standards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's data

Our store is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us their data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Please review it periodically.
